Lets Talk About Menstrual Hygiene

Mushtifund High School organized an interactive session on adolescence named ‘Lets talk on menstrual hygiene- Jannani’ which was initiated by Goa Samagra Shiksha. The talk was conducted by Dr Ameya Shankar Chari-Junior resident at Dept of Cardiology,GMC.
The school teenage girls were explained about the importance of the period of transition between childhood and adulthood. Children entering adolescence are going through many changes in their bodies and brains. These include physical, intellectual, psychological and social challenges, as well as development of their own moral compass.
Good Touch and Bad Touch

Mushtifund High School organized an interactive session on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch ,Rights and abuse’ by Shri Ashish Nagvekar, working for NGOs like CRG. He is with children helping them in regards to Child Rights & Child Abuse. He is a Theatre Artist, Writer and Director.
The session was arranged for std 6th, which included creating awareness among students about their bodies and who can touch them and who cannot touch them from an early age, empower the child to protect themselves and raise alarm incase anyone attempts to touch them inappropriately.
Shree Dayanand Bandodkar Jayanti

12th March is celebrated every year to pay respect to the first chief minister of Goa, Shree Dayanand Bandodkar.
This year too the teachers and students of Shree Saraswati prathamik Vidyalaya, Cujira, celebrated the Jayanti of Shree Bhausaheb Bandodkar by garlanding the photograph of Bhausaheb and speaking on the occasion.

Annual Visit to Association of the Friends of Astronomy

Students of Std. 4 visited the Panjim observatory today.
Slide show was conducted by Mr. Sumukh Kamat and sky observation session was conducted by Mr. Darshan Kholkar
Thursday 14th March
Another batch of Std 4 visited the Public Astronomical Observatory at Panjim and the program was again flawlessly executed by Mr. Sumukh Kamat and Mr. Tanay Govekar.
Students observed the constellations, Jupiter and surface of the moon. A celestial experience!
