The story of Mushtifund dates back to the days of the Portuguese rule when a few well meaning people started a school in a medium of instructions alien to the rulers of the land. Mushtifund Saunstha’s faith in its cultural roots might have encountered some barriers but they fenced it with the virtues of resolute courage, convictions and compassion.

It is this earnestness of conviction that has enabled us to grow into a huge family tree in an all embracing and inclusive spirit. Mushtifund is a house to as many as 3000 students, who could either be studying in nursery, primary, middle school, high school, the higher secondary school or even in a construction management and research institute run by the Saunstha.

And as if that were not enough, the management members of the Saunstha still wish to grow big and are open to travel an uncharted territory in the academic landscape. Our main mission is to develop excellent students with good moral values in different fields of education and to help the poor and needy to obtain quality education in life.
