MUSHTIFUND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS EXPLORE MODERN FARMING TECHNIQUES!
As part of our continued efforts to provide experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom, students of Class X recently visited local paddy fields on 25th June 2025 to witness modern mechanized farming techniques in action at Goa Velha.
The educational visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world agricultural practices. Guided by local farmers and agricultural experts, the students observed various stages of paddy cultivation using modern machinery such as mechanized seed planters, paddy transplanters.
Students gained firsthand knowledge about how technology is revolutionizing traditional farming—improving efficiency, reducing manual labor, and enhancing crop productivity. The visit also included interactive sessions where students were encouraged to ask questions and understand the environmental and economic impact of mechanized farming.
This enriching experience deepened students’ appreciation for the farming community and highlighted the role of innovation in sustainable agriculture. It also fostered a sense of connection to local traditions while emphasizing the importance of modern advancements in the field of agriculture
