Our school team of MISS AAHANA NAIK, MISS POORVI DESHPANDE & MASTER AYUSH VAIGANKAR Won the LATE VINAYAK D.SAWKAR MEMORIAL QUIZ COMPETITION
…..organized by the Saraswat Vidyalaya,Mapusa in association with the Inner Wheel Club of Mapusa at Anand Giri Keni Memorial Hall of Saraswat Vidyalaya Khorlim, Mapusa- Goa.
The Quiz Competition was held for the students of standard 8th and 9th on Saturday, 9th December 2023.
Our team of Miss Aahana Naik from std.9th, Miss Poorvi Deshpande of std. 8th and Master Ayush Vaigankar from std. 8th made it to the finals and won the Quiz.
The team received a trophy and a cash prize of ₹ 4000/-

Stellar Performance in VIDHYARTHI VIGYAN MANTHAN State Level Camp

MASTER DEVANSH VISWAKUMAR ACHARYA of standard VII secured THIRD PLACE at VIDHYARTHI VIGYAN MANTHAN State Level Camp.
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), is a National program for educating and popularizing science among school students of VI to XI standards.
It is a unique, app-based, science talent search examination that is conducted online. Students from classes VI to XI studying under CBSE, ICSE and State Boards are eligible.
It aims at popularising science among school children with the goal of identifying young minds with scientific potential.
VVM is supported by VIBHA, Vigyan Prasar, and NCERT.

Goa Science Centre for the inauguration of UPGRADED DIGITAL PLANETARIUM
Report on visit to Goa Science Centre for the inauguration of UPGRADED DIGITAL PLANETARIUM.
On 20 December 2023 students of Mushtifund High School visited Goa Science Centre & Planetarium (A unit of National Council of Science Museums) Miramar, Panaji for the inauguration of UPGRADED DIGITAL PLANETARIUM. This visit aimed to broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding of astronomy and technological advancements.
Total 20 students visited the Goa Science centre who were accompanied by B.Ed teacher trainees Ceriise Fernandes and Mahima Priolkar of Nirmala Institute of Education.
Upon our arrival at the Science Centre, a warm welcome awaited us. The students were ushered into the hall, where the inauguration ceremony commenced.
Our students Shanaya, Mumuksha and Swaraj were given an opportunity to escort chief guest during the inauguration. After the inauguration first show was telecasted in the newly upgraded Digital Planetarium. Our students Pranali Gawde, Zara Sardessai, Aahana Naik, Gauran Amonkar, Aarayan Morje and Siddhant Chari were given a chance to watch the first show in the Planetarium with our honorable CM of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant.
Our student Nupur was told to welcome esteemed guest and present a bouquet. The experts in the field of astronomy shared their knowledge, emphasizing the significance of the Digital Planetarium in fostering scientific curiosity among the younger generation. The students were attentive and engaged, absorbing the wealth of information presented to them. Refreshments were served after the programme.
Stepping into the Digital Planetarium was a transformative experience. The immersive technology transported our students into the depths of space, unveiling the wonders of the cosmos.The students were captivated, their faces illuminated with wonder as they witnessed the vastness of the universe unfold before their eyes.
This trip was not merely a visit but a transformative learning experience. It left an indelible mark on our students’ minds. As they returned to school, their conversations were filled with excitement and reflections on the vastness of space they had just witnessed.
Shri Suhas Hirba Sardesai….Secretary of Mushtifund Saunstha, was felicitated at the hands of Shri Laxmikant Parsekar at a function organised by “YUVA” . This function was held at Shri Maruti Sunsthan, Marutigad, Mala, Panjim.
Shri Sardesai was honoured for his valuable contribution towards the Field of Education as well as valuable services rendered for Social & Cultural cause over the past years.
