Late Dr. Mrs. Asha Vijay Thali Memorial All Goa Inter-school India Quiz - ‘bharat ka gyaan’

THE NEW EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE, CURCHOREM, WINS MUSHTIFUND PTA QUIZ 2023-’24
Miss Antara Nilkant Gaonkar and Miss Jiya Harshad Tendulkar of The New Educational Institute, Curchoem, Goa won the Late Dr. Mrs. Asha Vijay Thali Memorial All Goa Interschool India Quiz Competition 2023-’24 organized by the PTA of Mushtifund High School, Cujira, Santa-Cruz, Goa, held on Saturday, January 8, 2024, at Mushtifund High School, Cujira.
Dr. Padmanabh Rataboli, Professor and Head of Department of Pharmacology, Goa Medical College, and former Vice Chairman of the PTA of Mushtifund High School, conducted the quiz. He has been the quiz master of this annual quiz since its inception in 2008. The theme for the quiz was ‘Bharat ka Gyaan’.
Dr. Vijay Thali, daughters of Late Dr. Asha Vijay Thali, Mrs. Radha Varti and Mrs. Pallavi S. Kakodkar, Shri Suhas H. Sardesai, Administrator of Mushtifund Saunstha, Shri Dilip N. Dharwadker, Treasurer of Mushtifund Saunstha, Mrs. Aparna Chari, Headmistress of Mushtifund High School, Mrs. Chantal Gracias, and Mrs. Beena Kamat Shankhwalker, Asst. Headmistresses of Mushtifund High School, Treasurer of MHSPTA, Mrs. Vedshree S. Lawande, Secretary of MHSPTA, Mrs. Anisha N.S. Salgaonkar, were present on the dais for the prize distribution function.
Trophies and cash prizes were distributed to the prize winners at the hands of the dignitaries present on the dais. Dr. Vijay Thali handed over the newly instituted Rolling Trophy to the winning team. All the cash prizes and trophies were sponsored by the Thali family.
The programme was well attended by students and teachers of Mushtifund High School, members of the PTA committee, and also by teachers and parents of the participating schools.

Yuva Poshan - A Health Talk

Valedictory function of Yuva Poshan 2024, talk on healthy lifestyle and nutritional food was organised at Mushtifund High school by TEAM YUVA with special presence of Chief Guest Smt. Jyoti Sardesai Director of Food and Drugs Administration, Govt of Goa on 6th of January.
Healthy cooking and poster competition were conducted.

Mushtifund High School Tourism & Hospitality Student Batch visited Biodiversity Park Mollem, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary & Tambdi Surla Temple.
